Popular gear
We count people, not ratings. What we counted, from how many, and when comes first.
Gear the pros use
Most players use their sponsor's products, so this order reflects sponsorship more than popularity.
Sample: 36 players · data checked 12 Oct 2026 · “as of” dates on the player pages 9 Jul 2021–7 Oct 2026
The only source is Butterfly's official player profiles, so only that maker's products appear. Sources don't say which rubber is forehand, so rubbers are counted together; a player with the same rubber on both sides counts once. Ties are listed by product name and share the same number.

We count the products people list as current in My gear (the latest entry per slot). Only products used by at least 5 different people appear, and typed-in names aren't counted. Nobody's own choice is shown.
Collecting — products appear once 5 or more people use them.
Speed, spin and hardness numbers are set by each maker to compare its own products. Butterfly's hardness 36 and DONIC's 47.5 are on different scales, so numbers from different makers cannot be compared. This page shows each value exactly as the maker states it.
